The Capstone offers one of the most convenient locations in Ilfracombes bustling harbour area, ideally placed to make the most of the vibrant restaurants and bars nearby. The Capstone is a level walk to Ilfracombes harbour side attractions and the Lundy Island ferry. We are a few minutes walk along the stunning promenade to the Tunnels Beaches and The Landmark Theatre.

Originally two Victorian boarding houses, today The Capstone has a highly acclaimed restaurant & bar, 11 bedrooms with free WiFi, family rooms and premier rooms all in a very central location. For 2012 we are proud to welcome Jeevan Ayurvedic Massage to the hotel.

The a la carte restaurant serves fresh fish landed daily at the harbour and expertly prepared local beef. 

All our second and top floor en-suite bedrooms are individual and feature high definition flat screen LCD TV's, DVD players, hairdryers, in room ironing facilites, crisp white linen and complimentary tea and coffee. 

The old Victorian building does not have a lift so please enquire before booking if you have mobility needs. We are slowly and sympathetically bringing this old building into the 21st century.
